Due to a high level of heavy cargo bookings on the Southern Pearl Service, the Max Centaur V300 will now call Tarawa prior to Majuro.
Following a review of bunker fuel prices and our current bunker adjustment factor ( BAF ) level, we will be applying the following increase from Southern Lily V403 loading in Auckland on the 19-20th April 2017.
Southern Phoenix has been delayed, & as a result a split rotation for the Southern Pearl V138 & V139.

The Southern Pearl service between Fiji and Wallis & Futuna, Funafuti & Tarawa will now increase her frequency.

PDL announce Charity Auction will be held on the 02nd of December at our Pacific House in Parnell.
Additional vessels have been chartered by PDL due to overbooking on the Southern Pearl ex Suva.
The Southern Trader V1391 will call Nuku'alofa to carry cargo planned for the Southern Lily V393 which is already overbooked.
With the peak season upon us PDL is scheduling some additional services.
Cure Kids has a project to create better supply of oxygen especially in some of the smaller hospitals. PDL is proud to support this project with their fundraising during November.
During November PDL is fundraising for the Cancer Society and Cure Kids. Some of the team will be completing the Walking Stars Half Marathon walk on 26 November. The highlight will be a fundraising event where the highest bidder has the privilege of shaving our CEO's hair. During November you can pledge a donation and we can add it to your freight invoice.
Southern Pearl V124 has lost 24hrs on schedule in Wallis & Futuna on this voyage due to no work on the Sunday and a further 24hrs in Tarawa due to the Kiribati Independence Day on the 12th July.
Kiribati Port Authority ( KPA ) have announced that all containers – 20’ or 40’- must be limited to a maximum gross weight including the container tare weight, of 25 tonnes.
Further to our second notice to you on the 31st of May 2016, you will be aware of the current requirement for all containers to have a Verified Gross Mass ( VGM ) for them to be received for shipment. A reminder that failure to declare a VGM for any container will mean the cargo cannot be received for shipment and the cargo will not be authorised to load.
